In fact, all of the monkey family are from this 2,000 year history of the white race in Europe". "A few were lucky enough to make a start, and got as far as what you call the gorilla. Elijah Muhammad also asserted that some of the new white race "tried to graft themselves back into the black nation, but they had nothing to go by". According to The Autobiography of Malcolm X, all the races other than the black race were by-products of Yakub's (spelled Yacub in the biography) work, as the "red, yellow and brown" races were created during the "bleaching" process however, the "black race" included Asian peoples, considered to be shared ancestors of the Moors. However, they had learned to use "tricknology": a plan to use their trickery and lack of empathy and emotion to usurp power and enslave the black population, bringing the first slaves to America. Moses tried to civilize them, but eventually gave up and blew up 300 of the most troublesome of them with dynamite. For many centuries they lived a barbaric life, surviving naked in caves and eating raw meat, but eventually they were drawn out of the caves by Moses who "taught them to wear clothes". The soldiers patrolled the border armed with swords, to prevent the devils from crossing". Once there, they were roped in, to keep them out of Paradise. The new race traveled to Mecca where they caused so much trouble they were exiled to "West Asia ( Europe), and stripped of everything but the language. The brutal conditions of their creation determined the evil nature of the new race: "by lying to the black mother of the baby, this lie was born into the very nature of the white baby and, murder for the black people was also born in them-or made by nature a liar and murderer". After 600 years of this deliberate eugenics, the white race was created. Yakub died at the age of 150, but his followers carried on his work. Once there, he established a despotic regime and set about breeding out the black traits, killed all darker babies, and created a brown race after 200 years. With 59,999 followers, he went to an "isle in the Aegean Sea called Pelan", which Muhammad identifies with Patmos. He then discovered that the original black man contained both a "black germ" and a "brown germ". By the age of 18, he had exhausted all knowledge in the universities of Mecca. He "saw an unlike human being, made to attract others, who could, with the knowledge of tricks and lies, rule the original black man". This insight led to a plan to create new people. At the age of six, he discovered the law of attraction and repulsion by playing with magnets made of steel. Yakub acquired the nickname "big head", because of his unusually large head and his arrogance. He was a member of the Meccan branch of the Tribe of Shabazz. Yakub is said to have been born in Mecca at a time when 30% of original black people were "dissatisfied". It was developed by his successor Elijah Muhammad in several writings, most fully in a chapter entitled "The Making of Devil" in his book Message to the Blackman in America. The story of Yakub originated in the writings of Wallace Fard Muhammad, the founder of the Nation of Islam, in his doctrinal Q&A pamphlet Lost Found Moslem Lesson No. Despite the NOI's self-proclamations of consistency with modern science, there are no reputable scientific studies that support this assertion. Under its current leader Louis Farrakhan, the NOI continues to assert that the story of Yakub is true, claiming that modern science is consistent with it. The story has caused disputes within the NOI during its history. The Nation of Islam's mythology states that Yakub is the biblical Jacob. He is said to have done this through a form of selective breeding which is referred to as " grafting", while he was living on the island of Patmos. In the beliefs of the Nation of Islam (NOI), Yakub (sometimes spelled Yacub or Yaqub) was a black scientist who lived 6,600 years ago and began the creation of the white race.

Unless you are an insect admirer and a professional macro photographer, you may not want to spend the ‘higher’ price for the ‘L’ macro. This will solve the only negative I could think about this lens. In 2009, Canon launched a ‘L’ version that incorporatse a new hybrid IS, together with improved optical performance and weather seals for their latest macro lens. Perhaps the technology wasn’t advance enough back in 2000 and IS seemed to have been reserved to slightly bigger bodied lenses. This brings to the only downside of this lens, no image stablisation. In normal lights, I can still hand hold the lens and shoot with a shutter speed of 1/100 without any camera movement but anything slower will be a little bit more difficult. And of course when getting too close presents a challenge, hand shakes. I can step back for one half body shot, shooting at f/2.8 or 3.5 and get the background perfectly blurred out, and then get really close to photograph the rings on their hands for another shot without the need of changing lens. As a wedding and portrait photographer, I really love this versatility. Most tele lenses will have a minimal focusing distance of around 0.45m or more but being a macro means that you can do around 0.3m and that’s as close as photographing someone’s blackheads. Even by today’s standards, this lens is no slouch and can still produce stunning sharpness even for a 20+ mega pixel DSLR. There is no question that this lens is capable of producing some top quality photos. The ability to resolve details is top notch too. What I love about the lens is that the focusing ring is so large that makes manual override or manual focusing as easy as flushing the toilet.īeing a macro lens means that sharpness is always going to be good. It’s fast 2.8 aperture means I can shoot in reasonably dim conditions too. Apart from macro use, this lens is perfectly fine under normal use. With this focal length and without any image stabilisation, it needs to be light enough for most hand-hold situation. The lens itself isn’t very heavy and weights around 600g only but be assured, it certainly feels good in your hands.Ĭanon 100mm Macro is always a joy to use. It may not have the ‘L’ treatments so don’t expect weather seals but there’s a metal mount to ensure durability. This Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM was no exception, it’s well built, solid but not overweight. Most would have glass elements and metal mounts and very importantly, all were made in Japan, well that’s important to me at least. These were the days when the world economy was booming, materials were not scarce and no savings were needed. To me, any non-L Canon lenses that were built in between 19 had the best build quality. I never looked back since and it had been a great joy to use. I acquired mine in 2006 when I turned professional when I needed something that I could shoot close ups of wedding rings. Despite being a very capable design, it never won the hearts of many professionals and after ten years, in 2000, Canon released a USM version of this so-so popular Macro lens and instantly turned it into a hit among professionals and amateurs photographers.Ĭanon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro continued to sell in good numbers well into the digital era. The original EF 100mm macro lens, which offered a 1:1 magnification and introduced in 1990, was criticised for below too slow to focus because it never had the USM motor. Second and third, I already mention above, it’s a good medium tele that acts as a good portrait lens and the ability to get close to your subject. If you are a pixel peeper or sheer sharpness fanatic, then you should always shoot with primes. I love prime lenses because any prime always and almost easily beat any zoom lenses out there. Ok, there are few reasons that you should know before deciding which version of this fantastic macro lens. But I am here not to talk about the new ‘L’ version but to talk about the original USM macro that I have in my camera bag. After testing the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM myself, I can easily say that it’s a great great lens and it merits everything that a ‘L’ lens should: solid build quality and superb professional image quality. I am describing it as versatile because not only its a very competent portrait lens, its macro capability also relaxes your ability to get close to a subject, which a lot of the tele primes often struggle to do.Ĭanon’s recent introduction of the ‘L’ version is just too good and it will probably my next upgrade, whenever my current macro breaks, which will probably be forever. Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM is a very versatile medium tele macro prime that I personally think every Canon full frame shooter should have one in his/her bag. Remember that if it's raining or snowing, moisture will accumulate on unprotected gear, increasing the weight. You want to make sure that the stand is designed to handle the weight you plan, so include your gear, you (don't lie!), and any other weight you are bringing. The design of a tree stand is critical to getting the most comfortable experience on your next big game hunt. Good treestands are items many hunters don't think they need until they realize how much they like hunting deer from a protected position. Treestands are one hunting product you don't want to shop for based on price. Good quality treestands let hunters stay in one place for long periods of time, allowing deer to naturally move into areas they like to forage, and providing help to the hunter searching for that trophy buck. A tree stand gets the hunter up above the line of sight of a deer, making it more difficult for the animal to notice you. The animals have keen senses of smell, almost as though they are hunting you while you are hunting them. Treestands are great for hunting wooded areas that are difficult to conceal yourself from deer. Let's get into some of the features you should be looking for when you buy a new hunting stand no matter what type of game you like to hunt. We can help by explaining some of the features different types of stands use that you will like. With lots of items that all seem similar, picking the best deer stand isn't easy. Sifting through the different products out there can be a challenge because each company is trying to get you to buy their product. When you are looking to purchase a tree stand for your next deer hunt, the key features you need to consider are quality of design and materials, ease of portability, and safety. Some are intended for the lone hunter, while others are suitable for more than one hunter at a time. Tree stands come in lots of styles and designs. Portable tree stands can be carried into the perfect spot, then hoisted and secured in a tree. What is a Tree Stand?Ī tree stand is a device hunters use to gain an advantage over wily deer. Today, we will share with you some of our favorites and help you decide what features you need from your hunting gear. Choosing the perfect tree stand for your next deer hunting adventure is complicated. But if your files are lightweight and manageable, they can always be within reach on your device. It is great for the plasma, but I have to run a bunch of air line and it isn't exactly quiet in a residential area, but also isn't obnoxious, so it's no worse than a car idling from where the neighbors are. My big compressor is 150' away from the plasma table and is a real 5hp two stage leroi dresser. I'm not sure if the scroll would keep the pressure high enough while running a hypertherm 65 and others using air to blow out parts at the same time. The air in the shop is used mostly for blowing out parts/cleaning so the demand isn't extreme, but the old cman 5hp 20 gallon compressor is way too loud and runs often. For me, the scroll would be good for the building where we do sharpening and repair for the grooming industry and running the cnc plasma table, if the pressure stays high enough. The cfm is not bad, but also not ideal for that price tag and some of the tools that people run. It isn't clear if the unit only runs when the tank needs to be refilled, like most piston compressors, or if the motor runs for a period of time like a screw compressor. I saw the scroll compressor on welding web as well. angle die grinders and they have a mini grease gun with a pointed tip to shoot it in. That is not an item where I want to deal with fools. but if I need product support what if I get the die grinder guy? LOL. The guy who is answering those questions seems knowledgable. Are they kidding? I posted here because I was looking at the scroll. Email 2 asked me to confirm my question and then I got the stupidest answer possible "Use the correct grease and the correct grease gun". That made no sense so I submitted a question, asking: What is the correct gear lube or why would there be a grease fitting and what tool is used for that flush fitting? Obviously, a regular grease gun won't work. It has a grease fitting on the gearcase, like most similar tools, but the owners manual says to invert it and try to get air tool oil to run into the gear case. And costs about the same or a lot less if you go for the HF 2 stage. A decent 2 stage 5hp is good for another 2 or 3 cfm. They make a point of the difference between CFM and SCFM and suggest that others are exaggerating their true output but l have my doubts. The moisture filter is a spin on filter built right into the compressor, which seems like a nice feature. It is 100% duty cycle but I wonder how long you can go on 12 cfm and a small tank, with some of those air eaters, before you run out of air. They claim it will run anything in a garage including a DA sander or a blast cabinet. They compare it to 5hp piston on a 60 gal tank but if you look at the specs, they are comparing it to a single stage 5 hp. I have some reservations and wonder what others here think. It is very different from anything found in a non industrial setting. I just got an email from Eastwood, who are taking pre orders for their new scroll compressor.
